I graduated cum laude with my bachelor's degree in Political Science, pre-law from North Georgia College and State University. After my undergraduate degree, I moved to Indiana with my husband where I received my juris doctorate from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. I am licensed in the Northern and Southern District Courts of Indiana as well as the state courts of Indiana. 

After law school I worked in other firms practicing exclusively family law before starting The Law Office of Sara Pitcher, LLC in 2013. In 2023, we became Pitcher Legal and have continued to grow the firm to provide the best representation for our client. Focusing my practice allows me to stay up to date and current on the latest developments in family law. 

I am a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and Howard County Bar Association. I am a registered domestic relations mediator.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children, snowboarding, boating, and hiking. My husband and I are active supporters of Riley Hospital for Children, St. Jude, and Make-a-Wish. We are excited to be a part of my husband's hometown of Kokomo and be involved in the local community. 

I practice in Howard County, Tipton County, and Miami County. As an attorney, I focus my practice on helping my clients to meet their individual goals for my representation. 

I have worked as a legal assistant in several local law offices over the years. I moved back to Kokomo several years ago after a few years away. I have been with the Law Office of Sara Pitcher since January of 2017. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my children.

I graduated from Indiana University in May of 2002 with my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. After obtaining my undergraduate degree, I moved to Michigan with my husband where I received my juris doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law in December of 2004.  I was admitted to the Indiana Bar in Indiana on May 20, 2005 and I am licensed to practice in the state courts of Indiana.

After returning to Indiana following graduation from law school, I worked as a Staff Attorney and then a Chief Counsel for the State of Indiana with the Department of Child Services for fourteen years.  During my time with the State, I had the opportunity to practice in multiple counties throughout Indiana. I’m excited to use my experience and skills to assist individuals in need of advice and representation in the practice of Family Law.  I am also a trained Guardian Ad Litem.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, our three dogs and our cat.  We enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling.  We are huge sports fans as well, and especially enjoy attending Colts games whenever possible.
