I graduated cum laude with my bachelor's degree in Political Science, pre-law from North Georgia College and State University. After my undergraduate degree, I moved to Indiana with my husband where I received my juris doctorate from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. I am licensed in the Northern and Southern District Courts of Indiana as well as the state courts of Indiana.
After law school I worked in other firms practicing exclusively family law. Focusing my practice allows me to stay up to date and current on the latest developments in family law.
I am a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and Howard County Bar Association. I am a trained Guardian Ad Litem and volunteer with Kids' Voice of Indiana. I am also a registered domestic relations mediator.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children, snowboarding, boating, and participating in 5k walks. My husband and I are active supporters of Riley Hospital for Children, St. Jude, and Make-a-Wish. We are excited to be a part of my husband's hometown of Kokomo and be involved in the local community.
I practice in Howard County, Tipton County, Miami County, and Cass County. As an attorney, I focus my practice on helping my clients to meet their individual goals for my representation.
I have worked as a legal assistant in several local law offices over the years. I moved back to Kokomo several years ago after a few years away. I have been with the Law Office of Sara Pitcher since January of 2017. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my children.
